Summary Prompt
The first wave of Noldor arrive in Middle-earth, and Fëanor meets his end. Following an attempt at negotiations (sort of) with Morgoth, Maedhros is captured and the remaining members of this first group hold their ground. Meanwhile, Fingolfin arrives with his host from the North. This chapter packs in an immense amount of history of the First Age.
