My way of deciding which cards to claim is 'okay, it's a nice card but realistically could I write something for at least half those prompts?' If not but it''s a really cool card I'll keep it for inspiration later but not claim it. I'm only taking 5 so I need to be ruthless :D

To be fair that's a good way to do it. I'm looking at some of them and thinking "ooh, I really want to write for that one prompt" - not "ooh, I could write for *all* the prompts."

Claiming a card for just the one prompt means risking a certain frustration: it could be the one number that doesn't get called!
